CommentsOk, no problem, thanks for accept it.
I keep I still marvel at the way it blends the colors, can you give me some advices? Sure. You can see the technique of how I paint explained here. [link]
I use a program called paint tool SAI. The colors I do from imagination and sometimes a reference of an artwork or photo with colors I like. I paint all my stuff on separate layers so I can use the hue/saturation button to find a color that works well with it. So if I want orange I fill in an orange color that I think will work. If it doesn't I adjust it with hue/saturation until it does. AT the end I add in an overlay layer and start painting with a light purple shadow or blue. And I use a warm yellow for the highlights also on an overlay layer. I usually adjust the colors slightly in photoshop using the color balance option and sometimes brightness/contrast. She has lots of handy stuff as well. You can also see my tutorial favourites. I have learned a lot from them. Hope this helps. Wow nice tutorial.
The part that strikes me is that you have a good eye for mixing colors, and the way you put the lights and shadows intrigue me, I guess this part can not teach you any software XD; Did you take classes, or you are professional photographer? Oh thank you so much for the huge compliment.
I'm self-taught. I draw and take photo's as a hobby. I learned through experimentation and tutorials. And of course a lot of practice. |
Can you give me many advices of your technique? XD.
All the overlapping elements have an nice style with basic shapes.
The details are simples and very specific, and your knowledge of the lights and shading are very well spend.
Just have many questions with the composition., is indiscuble that your elements are very well placed, and is a good scene in general terms.
But like a spectator, my questions are.
What is viewing the fox, and Why all is so calm?
My idea is just need a more element that justify all the picture.
That´s my personal opinion, I hope this help you to grown .
